I just bought a 10" sears bandsaw and was wondering what general purpose blade was recommended for nice cuts and decent life. I know zip about bandsaw blades, no idea what's good or not. I tried searching but it didn't throw up much useful.

I'll be doing mostly cuts through hardwood bowl blanks, rounding off before putting stuff on the lathe with some ripping and crosscutting thrown in. Mainly small-ish stuff.

Give Suffilk Machinery a call and tell them what saw you have and what you want to do with it and they can fix you right up with a great Timer Wolf bland.
