Frame and Panel Door Software

In order to help save some shop time I thought I might try one of the panel door software packages. Your recommendations, please. Thanks.

Hi John,
I suppose there is some nice software out there, but I find just using spreadsheets works great.

Input the door width and height, width of style/rail and it spits out a cutlist sorted by length with total linear footages. Once you have set it up, you can use it as a template for future jobs.

I also use spreadsheets to calulate cutlists for drawers, faceframes and sheetgoods.

The key to happiness here, if you are not on metric, is to learn the 3 digit decimal equivalent of fractional inches.

+1 on the spreadsheet. Macros and formulas are great for this sort of thing.

Just downloaded Just Doors but the instructions are illegible. Looks like a double exposure.
