I have a abundance of ash wood, and was going to use it for drawers. Would anyone reccoment against this? I can plane it down to 3/4, or less and then dovetail togeter. Do you think it will be too unstable since its not plywood?

Ash would be fine. I make drawers out of popular, oak, and maple. Unless the drawers are really huge, 1/2" would be fine.

Ash is a very good drawer material. Lots of antiques have ash as a secondary wood. Must have been plentiful.

I have made drawer boxes out of ash milled to 1/2". No problems after years of use.

Here are some drawers that I recently made with cherry fronts, and ash
sides/backs.
Ash machines well for drawers, looks good, and is strong. great wood.
This project got me a lot of good will from LOML.

Nice work! A little door knob conflict I see.

Under mount slides, what are they rated for weight? Are they working as they should with the loads you have in them?

They are 100 lb rated Blum Tandems, and work fine.

Dovetailed ash sides are nice with contrasting (darker) wood for drawer faces.
