I would like to turn some finials and I thought an instructional DVD would speed up the learning curve. The question is....which DVD. I am assuming everybody will say a Cindy Drozda DVD. But, which one should I start with?
Thank you,
Jim Slovik

Jim,

I have "Elegant Finials" 2nd edition by Cindy Drozda. It' s good one.

Anyone of her DVD's are good but the one that Ken told you about is probably the best for doing finials.

Jim,
I agree with Ken and Bernie. Her first DVD, Elegant Finials, is better for getting the basics on finials. I also have the Fabulous Finial Box DVD, which is later and better production quality, but not as good covering the basics.

Jim,

Go here: http://www.woodworkingchannel.com/dolphin/vidego_video_library.php

scroll over to AAW ....and then there is a series of videos including one by Cindy Drozda.

That link is something else. Go to the Misc tab and check out the hunk of wood that Nick Cook tackles.
