I hope this is not a stupid question.

The February edition of Popular Woodworking has a Shoji cabinet constructed of glued-in-place maple veneer plywood. What is the difference between this product and regular maple plywood?

Thanks much

I have lots of woodworking experience. I don't know what "glued-in-place" plywood is. Without reading the article, I'd guess it isn't a product, but rather what happens to standard plywood in the construction process. For instance, I'd might refer to the panel in a specific kind of frame-and-panel door as glued in place -- to distinguish it from a panel that floats in place.
