Loaned my 1014 to a friend a while ago and only just got it back. Now it doesn't turn on. Yeah, I learned my lesson. Does it have a fuse that might have blown? If so, where?

May need a new belt, too. Where can I get one?

Thanks.

It is a Good Year 240J Poly V belt (3 ribs) belt. You can get it at many places for less than what Jet parts + shipping would charge you.

Do you have a VS or the belt change model. If it is the VS, there is a little black reset button on the control panel between the on/off switch and the speed dial.

The Jet mini is prone to have saw dust getting into the switch and causes it to malfunction. Unplug the lathe, remove the switch and clean it real good. May be replacing the switch is all you need to do.

Kevin - sorry to hear about your lathe! Was going to suggest blowing out the on/off switch as even a little dust can sometimes prevent a switch from working.

+1 to dust in the switch. Carefully disassemble it and clean the contacts and remove any loose dust from the case. I've had to do it a few times.
