Cabinet Stock

I am going to build some Cabinets using face frame construction.
Since I am going to wrestle them around by myself I was thinking of building the 1/2 inch Ply for the wall cabinets to keep the weight down.
Would the 1/2 inch be strong enough to hold onto the wall and remain square under suspension?

I used 1/2" for a set of laundry room cabinets hung on the wall and they have stayed square. with a dado fit top and bottom plus the extra rigidity of the face fram 1/2" will be fine.

1/2" can be okay, but it depends on what is going to be in the cabinets and if you are going to have adjustable shelves with shelf clips or pins in the sides. I'm not sure I would trust 1/2" for a cabinet holding the whole 12 place setting set of fine china my wife got from her great grandmother....
