new workbench

I made me a new bench....after seeing some of the benches on here, my old one fell a little short..

I made 4 maple legs, wraped the top with 1 1/2 angle iron then put 4 sheets of 3/4" plywood on top of the angle, then wraped top and bottom with sapele..2 plywood drawers covered with maple and a maple dust cover in the back...the top has 2 T tracks for leigh cam clamps ( I didnt want dog holes because sawdust would go in the drawers)
vises on both ends
the top is filled and sanded, all is sealed and polyed.
top is 30" X 96"

I like how you have storage is built right into the bench.
I'm sure that puppy is rock solid....
Any idea how much it tips the scales at?

That's pretty amazing. Very nice work. I have the same vice in your second picture. Could I ask to see how you attached it under the table and how your wood planks are setup in the vice itself? I am building a new table, but thought I had tto have that vice under the table top with loads of clearance. You seem to have worked around that.

Ed, one is a 9" shopfox and the other is one from woodcraft, not sure of the name

Chris, I cant get to it to take a picture now ( its covered ) but all I did was clamp the vice in place then plane a block of maple till it fit between the vice and bottom of the table then glue and bolt it in place
