Here are some pepper mills that I made shortly before Chrisrmas.
From the left Hackberry, Walnut, Curly Maple, Curly Ash, and Cocobolo.
All are 8" +/-, made with the Premium mill from CSUSA. Similar to the Deluxe mill, but is much quieter.
Finish is Mylands friction polish.

Jerry - very nice work on all these! The curly Maple just jumps out at me! Love all that curl!

I like them all, but like Steve, the curly maple really stands out - cocobolo is my second pick!!

Very pretty! What size blank did you start with? I have some green wood that is still in log form that I would like to use. The closer I could cut it the faster it might dry. Thanks.

Baxter, I start with pieces about 8-3/4" - 9" x about 3".

Thanks Jerry! I will see if I can find/cut some heartwood blanks that would be that size.:)
