These are some awards that I made for the Atlanta Hotoberfest. They give out the awards to people that make their own brews. Just thought I would post these, as they turned out nice.
I made the basic awards from red alder plaques that I purchased from JDS. They were cutout and the 1/4" fill removed with cnc router. I then did the laser engraving and they had another guy that specializes in gilding to do the color on them.
The center emblem that says Hotoberfest was made from walnut that came out of a tree that had to be cut in Grant Park (Atlanta).
Just got a re-order for some larger ones (9.5") that are going to be used as awards also but go on the faces of some kegs I understand. I am using 12" x 15" red alder plaques for these.
