I know it's an open ended question, but I have $30 to spend at Amazon.

What would you buy?

I am a flatwork woodworker, upcoming projects include a bookcase/toybox, end tables, coffee table, dressers and a king bed frame.

Thanks!!

I just got one of these magnetic featherboards and love it! It's $45, but I think worth it since I bet you actually use it.

Thanks for the ideas guys, both items I wouldn't have thought of but now want :)

If anyone else has ideas I would appreciate them. (Over $30 works too)

You may not need any of these but some ideas - $30 off one of the items below

freud dado blade
freud router bits or shaper cutter
freud or forrest saw blade
parallel clamps
kreg jig, screws, clamps, kreg's new micro/mini insert for the 3/4" screws
another router

Jeff, do you use a biscuit joiner? then genuine Lamello brand biscuits are worth the money.
Yes, as mentioned featherboards and push sticks. Headphones, wrap around splash goggles.

Blades, router bits, drill bits, sandpaper, sander, screws, clamps, digital angle box, Incra V27, batteries, etc....what do you need, what needs upgrading, what needs replacing?

I got an Amazon $50 gift card... after 38 years of accumulating not much I need. So... I hang onto it until a need arises for some small item or to chip the price off a larger one as the need will come eventually for something I really need.

This is a really good book on wood finishing if you don't already have one, very easy to read. Perhaps not interesting if you have already been woodworking for a long time. But I found it very educational:

Understanding Wood Finishing - Bob Flexner (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0762106212?ie=UTF8&tag=lillijean-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=0762106212)

You can also get subscriptions to various woodworking magazines through Amazon. It also looks like you get a $5 Amazon credit for subscribing through them. Here are two:

Wood Magazine (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00006LIR1?ie=UTF8&tag=lillijean-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B00006LIR1)

Finally, do you have a pocket hole jig yet?

Kreg R3 jig (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000J43A7W?ie=UTF8&tag=lillijean-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000J43A7W%22)

On second thought...if you really want to maximize your gift certificate experience, buy your wife or significant other some earrings. ;)

Plywood sized router bits are pretty handy, that's for sure.

A new router bit, that will be used on one of the upcoming projects.

Router bits are like candy, you can never have enough. LOL :D
