Im looking for a set of those small centering bits you use to make a center starter hole when drilling on your lathe. There in some of the posts but nobody mentions where they got them.

Jack, I buy mine from Wholesale tool, they are about the cheapest for machine tools and drill bits of many types. Enco had them also along with many other companies.

I just got a set at Harbor Freight. Have not tried them yet so I can't say what the quality is like.

Great, I have both the Harbor Freight store and Wholesale tool store in town so I will check them out.

They are called center drills. I think Grizzly has them.

Any local machine supply place should have them. They are so handy, I keep one loaded at all times in a spare chuck.

Just got an email, Rockler has a 3-piece set on sale for about 10 bucks.
