One of my last waking moments in 2009 was spent ordering my new GO457 bandsaw. Today it arrived and now resides in my basement shop awaiting the mobile base to get here too (ordered immediately after placing the saw order).

This is my first purchase from Grizzly. I had great communications with them and can't wait for the base. Hopefully tomorrow! Shipping was free but the $32 I spent for lift gate service was absolutely worth it! When I mentioned it to the driver he was amazed it was only $32. He said the trucking company charges $75-80 for the service.

Thanks to all the folks who reviewed and commented about the saw in previous posts.

I do not SEE it, therefore, it does not exist!

I'd have to show you 2 boxes on the shop floor silently waiting their mobile base. I know it's sort of like leaving a puppy in the box on Christmas Day. Maybe I should go poke some air holes in the cardboard:rolleyes:!

Holes in the cardboard will just let the bees move in. (or out?)

Very good! As it's about 20º out, they'd be moving in.

20! Sounds like a heat wave is moving through New England.

Thought I left the cold behind when we moved down to NC, but it is going down to the 20's down here again tonight.

No bees though, as far as I know.

Congrats - you'll enjoy that saw. Be sure to take lots of pictures during/after setting it up and give us a nice review! :)
It FINALLY moved up over 10° here for the first time in like 4 days...but only because a snow storm is moving through. Once we get our 6-8'' of snow, the temp is supposed to plummet back down to below 0°.
Woot.
