Last is a Black Cherry burl. I could not get a good picture of the profile. I was trying to show off the hole and void. Bowl measures 6 3/4" Dia x 1 3/4" tall.

Really nice Mike. I do like the cherry burl but the walnut is mighty fine to.

Mike,
All the bowls are very nice. Of the three, I like the black cherry the best. It looks like a bowl that would be used frequently and would always look good.

Mike, nice trio of bowls!! At first, I thought it was an easy pick - the cherry burl. But, the more I look at them, I really kinda like the walnut one. Nice shape, nice edge, and the grain looks neat, too!
Don't mean to slight the second one, and I know you weren't taking votes, but.....

Great looking trio of bowls. Hard to pick a favorite as I like them all. You seem to have a natural eye for form, and the small embellishments are a wonderful touch. Great job.

I too have been enjoying all your bowls. Not only are they different species, but you have made each one a little different in its own way by its shape or rim design. Since I am just starting with bowls, I have been looking at each one and trying to figure out what makes it special or unique. Thaks for posting.
