Has asked me, yes me.
To tell you, yes you.
That you can own this lipstick covered pig for the low, low price of just 30 dollars and 34 cents.

Act now, don't delay.

Operators are standing by.

That plane must have some teenage friends who convinced your plane to change its color. Don't wory, the plane will grow out of this phase.

I don't think that pigs can change their spots.
Or is it:
You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!

One way or another this will likely always be a pig.

To think someone took a beautiful blue stanley and turned it into a bigger hunk of junk that it already was, defying the seemingly impossible. kudos to that man (or woman.)

That's right, this baby's hot, we painted it fire engine red now all we need are some racing stripes.

What number is that plane, Jim? Are you seriously trying to unload it?

Jim,

I was just given a MF #8 that was painted almost as bad as yours. The sole and sides were painted black, the lever cap a bright red along with the tote and knob.

It sure was fun getting the black off the sole and sides. Still trying to get all the paint off the two piece lever cap.

Have a Blessed day.

Hey Jim! Could have been a custom plane for "PINKIE LEE"?

No, it is not mine. I do have some planes listed in the SMC Classifieds right now.

This one came up in my ebay block plane search. I thought it was funny, because it is ugly and not a "vintage Stanley block plane."

It is buy it now item # 280447087877.

I have one of those, its a Stanley No. Nothing. Hardware store special, my first plane. I've tuned it up and the amazing thing is it works pretty well. Not red though, its nicely polished. I treat it sort of like my first born.
