my wife got me a woodburning setup from packard and it came with all the bells and whistles.
anyways, i want to do some work on turnings like the giraffe look and some vines.....

does anyone have a good link to some patterns online, i keep doing google image searches with no real luck.

just figured i'd ask you guys first.

Have not found any good strictly woodburning freebees out there. But depends upon what you want to do and your artistic ability (mine is ~0). Lots of simple stuff from children's coloring sites and books. Can make your own patterns from copies of wildlife photos or whatever. Just use your imagination. You can practice on scrap cardboard, with a very low heat setting. Got my wife to draw a pattern for me once. Maybe your wife is an artist?

Scroll saw pattern books and stained glass pattern books. You might check with your local library for more ideas.
