Performax 22/44 PRO sander Conveyor Problem

Hi all, for some reason the conveyor belt on my 22/44 Pro has developed a kink down the center of it. THe unit is about 3 years old with minimal use.

Has anyone got any sugestions on a fix, is it ok to run with a small kink in the conveyor?
