Need a mid winter break? The Kalamazoo Michigan air museum is offering free admission to both of its adjacent campuses. The museum has a nice collection of WWII aircraft as well as an F-14, F-18 Hornet, and what I consider its' crown jewel the SR-71 Blackbird. There are indoor rides available including a flight simulator and a great display of WWII artifacts and arms. Great day trip or overnighter for Chicagoans[yes, come see OUR museum].
No, I'm not connected in any way with the museum other than being proud to have such a great attraction in our town. I-94 to exit 77 [Portage Road] south about 1 mile to museum.

Thanks for the tip.

Down the road (Dayton Ohio)is the National US Air Force Museum. They have EVERYTHING. A collection of old Air Force one planes. Space ships etc...
HUGE place.

Also home of hanger 13 where they keep crashed UFO's and space aliens. Or some belive. But you can't get in there.

Always FREE. Your tax money pays for it.
