Hello,

I just bought the multi-tool at Harbor Freight (for $29.95 with coupon), and I’ve already been using it to scrape up the linoleum on my bathroom floor, prior to installing tile. I’ve never used anyone’s multi-tool, and to me, this one works great and is a great buy for the money.

But, when I was at Harbor Freight, I saw a newer version of the multi-tool, and the new one has variable speed and a carrying case (and with more attachments) for $69.95. I was tempted to buy it, but decided to stick with the less expensive model.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Harbor Freight has a newer version of this tool.

I have no reason to replace my $30 HF tool either. Works for me.
New one here;

I almost bought the multi tool but I was worried it would be under powered. I have sme HF tools, like the O.. drum sander and it works great but I also have one of their 18v cordless drills and its is the weakest drill I have ever used.

I was worried the multi tool was going to be more like their version of the dremil which was very weak.

I'm glad to hear the MT has a good report. I may re visit that decision.

Mine works great. Get extra blades for it.
