So I tried out my hollow form tools to do the undercutting on this bowl, then decided to added a lid. They both came from a larger blank that had developed a check, so they match. I think I'm gonna like hollow form type stuff. Thanks for all the inspiration and knowledge here at SMC.

Happy New Year!!

Cool....I like the stem on top of the lid. Is that cherry?

Very nice work! Really like the natural/organic feel to the form! Beautiful wood! Love Cherry - especially when it has some curl!

Looking forward to seeing your next hollow form!

Way to go Sean!! I really like the shape, and the way the lid pillows where it meets the bowl. Cute stem, too!!

Way to go... That's a nice form and the lid looks really nice with the simple handle

Sean, I like it! Cool shape and I love cherry! Keep at it and it will get easier and you will try even harder HF's.

Great job,

Have a Happy New Year!

Like the grain and the shape. A bowl with a lid is on my list of things to try someday!

What a great piece! I too really like the "stem". Gives a very organic feel to the whole piece. ...Bill...
