Corel Print Setting Problem

When I try and save the settings for speed and power for my laser (Mercury) in Corel it doesn’t save my settings.
I’ve tried to change the settings in control panel then printer, then the driver for the laser and select properties and make all the change and hit the apply button and save.
Open Corel 12 and send a file to the laser and the settings haven’t changed.
What step am I’m missing??

I have an Accuris and use the Corel driver. When I change the speed/power, before I do anything else I have to press "Setup". I have the ILS-3NM printer driver.

Hope that's all it is. Otherwise I would contact the manufacturer.
