I enjoy the shop tours I see on here and have wanted to share mine for some while. This is in my two car garage. I don't point it out anywhere in the photos, but I have designed it so I can pull both the planer and jointer back to be able to joint/plane larger pieces of wood. Worse comes to worse, I have to open the garage door for a few minutes.
I can also park one of our cars in there by moving the wood cart and the mortiser over.
Any ideas for improvement are welcome!

If I had a shop like that I'd kill myself.
So Victor could have it. :D

Very nice looking shop! Thats alot of steel city, and you live in Palatine. Let me guess, you go to woodcraft alot? :)

Actually I go there less often lately because of the service I have received in the past. I now go to Rockler a lot more for things, even though it is further away.
I purchased a few of my tools through Woodcraft, but a lot of them through Berlands.
I really liked the quality I was getting from Steel City and the 5 year warranty the tools came with kept me purchasing more and more of their stuff.

A shop video is something everyone should do. Insurance reasons.

Great tour Adam. I think you did a great job organizing.
Some day when I get close to finishing my shop (I have a hard time getting things finished without a deadline though) I hope to give a tour of my shop.
That tune from your video is stuck in my head now so thanks a bunch:rolleyes:

Nice tour Adam. Man I wish I were organized enough to even clean my shop enough to take still photos let alone a video!
