Gary, I have access to lots of maple, but I never seem to find the great stuff like your bowl! I guess I will have to put in more time digginf through the wood in the forest to find the gems.

Great bowl and really show the figure with the finish that you applied.

Gary, you know curly maple makes me salivate!!!:D That is a beautiful piece. You really scored on some of those blanks you bought - nice stuff! The mineral oil seems to really pop the grain nicely, and I like the finish - not too glossy - just enough.
