Anyone turn any clocks lately out there??? If so how about a photo or two. Thanks for showing.

John, I did these as Christmas gifts this year. I laminated scraps into 8 blocks, mitered them into 8 large segments, glued them into a ring, turned the ring into a donut shape, cut the 8 sections apart, and turned the two ends including the recess for the clocks. The clock faces are usually available in two basic sizes; these are the larger ones. The finished pieces have about a 3 3/4" diameter. The smaller size clocks are much faster to produce.

Those are wonderful! Very creative.

I'd love to have one on my desk, but I'm afraid I'd just keep staring at the patterns in the wood and would never get any work done.
