These lights are very popular. I gave one as a gift to someone and ended up with orders for 40 more...from 3 different people who saw them. All at the same Christmas party. For next Christmas!

Your daughter will love it, Steve!

cheers, dee

Steve,

How about a little more about the based you are using? I have the tape strip LED's that cut into 3 LED Groups...... Powered by 12 volts DC. Have not made any yet.

The acrylic is about 1/16" and came precut (about 6" high). The base has 5 LEDs and holds three AA batteries. It also has a connector for a transformer cable. I got a few of these from Jim Good (a fellow Creeker). It was a while ago and I don't remember what he charged since I ordered a lot of different items to use for prototypes.

Steve,

The acrylic blank is 2mm thick and approximately 4.9" wide and about 5.25" tall.

My website is down right now. I changed servers and my webmaster had a boating accident and hurt his back. He is well now so he's ready to get back to work (no pun intended :p). Email me for any questions.

Steve,

Nice work! I love LED edge-lit signs...they are such a unique and stunning look, and a great idea for a kids room! Wish I had kids of my own to make some for.
