Here is a free excerpt from Chests of Drawers by Bill Hylton (http://www.taunton.com/promotions/excerpts/DrawerBuildingBasics.pdf) that covers most of the basics of drawer construction and mounting. It does not cover how to plan the spacing between drawers.
