I just picked up a Ritter (Antioch CA.) doweling/horizontal boring machine. I see no reference to it on OWWM, so I come to the all knowing creekers.

It is a single spindle machine with a newer looking Baldor motor, air actuated hold down and stroke. Haven't tried that part out yet, but it runs well, and has no play in the spindle.

My problem is that I am sure it is missing either a table, or a fence. It came with a wooden fence that fit on what appears to be either the table or the base for the table. This part goes up and down.

It is model R-130, Ser. #218. The company is still is business and I have E-mailed them, perhaps I will get a reply.

Anyone have a picture of one, or know how old it might be?

Merry Christmas everybody!

Rick Potter

PS: I paid $250 for it....Deal or no deal?

Did you see this http://www.professionalmachinery.com/used_equipment.asp (search page for r-130, #88 about half way down, 6 pics) or this http://www.exfactory.com/seePhoto.aspx?showall=yes&recnum=BH-010437 Seem to be lots of hits w/pics on ritter r-130.

Thanks Dan, mine is the green one on Ex Factory. It apparantly is just missing the wood table top. The guy I bought it from was proud of his plywood table (junk), but I assumed it must have come with a cast iron one. Wrong. I have it all.

Merry Christmas,
