Hi:
Here are photos of a smooth plane made for difficult grain woods.
-8.5" long by 1 3/4" wide
-5/16" starrett O-1 steel @ 55 degrees, 1.5" wide blade
-steel riveted sides (no distortion) 3/16" thick,machined flat and perpendiculer
-tolerances held to one thousandths or less over length of plane
-sole is .40" thick 360 brass
-Macassar ebony
- MOP inlay

Stunning! One of the most beautiful planes I've ever seen. Great work my man and would love to know how you go about creating something like that. Way beyond anything I could muster up for sure.
