DIY band saw fence

I just picked up a cherry Rigid 14" band saw for a real great price and it runs perfect. I was wondering if anyone has plans or ideas on how to build a band saw fence cheap. I don't have the cash now to buy a fences, so I am asking the group for ideas.

Screw two long narrow (about 3"x18") boards together at right angles along the long ends and clamp it to the table. If you want to get fancier, bevel the left side of the bottom piece to match the offset of your saw. Then, to position the fence you just need to measure equal distances from the fence base to the edge of the table.
