I am considering purchasing a Grizzly Mortizer. Does anyone have experience with the G0448? My other option is the Powermatic 719T.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know anything about the Grizzly but have the Powermatic and would highly recommend it...good tool.

my stepbrother has the grizzly. i've used it, no complaints, seems accurate and stable enough.

however i would add another option in that price range. the General International 75-075.

i went with it instead of the grizzly a couple of years ago. again, no real complaints about the grizzly after using it, my decision was purely based on being able to get the general for ~30-40 dollars less at the time, and general giving you 4 bits/chisels, i think grizzly only gave my stepbrother two with his.

i think they're pretty similar otherwise.

Martin,

Another one you might want to consider...the General International 5/8" hollow chisel mortiser. I bought one..used it on one project. It works well.
