Howdy,

Well here is my new ride. I really didn't intend to be having 2 truck payments at the same time but I do anyway. Payton loves my old Ram and this new one is pretty cool. It's got all the bells and whistles...hemi of course :D ...leather..power everything and even power adjustable pedals. I really like that. It's the most comfortable truck I have ever driven and for me that's important. I put nearly 1000 miles on it this week in 4 days!!

I've been up to my usual stuff like stripping all the emblems, tinting the windows and adding a few other goodies. I usually take off all the mouldings too but the chrome on the Larimie was just too neat to remove. I think the chrome really complements the graphite color nicely.

I swore I would not buy one with the 20" wheels but obviously I did. They are really cool looking but I sure do dread buying tires.

I ordered the lowering kit Wednesday so as soon as it's here and this new one is about 5" closer to the ground I will be super happy with it.

Thanks for looking,

t

Dan,

Sure does. My other one is an 2002. The 360 in that one is a dog compared to the hemi in this one. It took a couple of days of driving it to not spin the tires every time I took off. The hemi got 18.3 mpg on the road this week as well. Not to bad for a Dodge.

Very sweet! I agree with you on the 360 being a dog, my `95 ram puts out only 220hp. That said, if you change the oil regularly the will run forever!
The 3.5 liter (213 cubic inches) in the wife’s car puts out 260hp, go figure

Man, Terry........I am GREEN with envy over that bad boy. Just last week, I was shopping for a new truck and looked at the one you just bought. Reality sunk in quickly that I couldn't swing it at this point, and wound up with a little Chevy Cavalier.... :(

<sigh>........someday........

The Pix police give an A+ grade. Very nice Terry. Had a 98 360 4WD. Would pass everything on the road but a gas station.;)

Nice truck Terry.

Isn't it low enough already for a truck, any lower it'll be a wannabe in other words not a car & to low to be a truck. :D

Bart,

Nah...It'll be fine. I've pretty much lowered everthing I've driven in the last 20 years. Low enough to look good but not too low to be useable. These darn Dodge's sit so high that 5" on this truck will not make a bit of difference in useablility but it will greatly improve the driving/handling of the truck. I did the same to my other Dodge and the difference was amazing. It's been everywhere over the last 2 years and hauled whatever I've thrown at it just fine. Not one single probelm in 97,000 miles.

Normally, I would get on ya Terry for not driving "Blue", but since you are such a good guy, you can drive whatever ya want! ;)

Besides that, you are Bigger than me.............and Payton is WAY bigger than me, so I ain't givin' ya ANY static about the flavor of your truck! :D :p ;)
