Any heads up on Grizz Price increases for 2010? I am trying to decide which bandsaw to purchase was planning to order one after the first of the year but if there is a price increase I would most likely order yet this year.

At this time I am leaning towards the G0513X2B 17" 2 HP Extreme-Series but I keep changing my mind.

Last year Shiraz gave us a heads up pretty well in advance that prices were going up in 2009. He hasn't said anything this year so my guess is no. I would like to hear also. I want to purchase a G0453z planer but the funds won't be there until next year.

I have a 513XB2 and have been very pleased with it. If you resaw often, get some good carbide resaw blades - you won't regret it.

Christmas price of $120 off (http://www.grizzly.com/catalog/2009/Christmas/10) ends December 31st (http://www.grizzly.com/catalog/2009/Christmas/002). Why wait and pay more?

Price increases are inevitable the way I see it. I don't see how inflation can be avoided.:eek: If we don't see inflation in 2010, I can't imagine escaping it in 2011.

That's the BS I am looking at as well, and saving up for.

But...I probably won't have the $$$ by then...*sob*

Copper has been steadily rising too, which will influence machinery prices.

Looks like I need to place an order next week!

I need to do some organizing to get it set up in my shop and this will not be happening for a couple of months that is why I was waiting, now I will have to store the new BS in my garage until I get my shop reorganized.

I've been eye-ballin' the 513x2b for a while, but admitedly hadn't checked back in a bit. Didn't realize the sales was on so I pulled the trigger a minute ago....

now then, anybody in St. Louis want to buy a G1019z 14 inch bandsaw, riser kit, 5 or 6 blades and a rockler table? :)

cheers
Pat

I'm thinking that with you celebrating and all with your new purchase...and knowing that you are all about the Christmas spirit and all...

You should just go ahead and give me your other saw.

And deliver it to PA.
