Small Cherry Form, Madron Burl Finial

Small form, about 8 inches tall with a 3 inch finial. Burnished the form, applied walnut danish oil to the finial. 2 wheel buffed. Turned on Jet mini.

That is a good looking piece Mike. The only thing I would have did different is to continue the curve into the base just slightly more. In other words make the base slightly smaller.

Thanks; if I remember correctly, I used a shopmade copy of Ellsworth's 'high shoulder tool', a sorby multi-tip tool and jamieson hollowing rig. :)
