I've had a couple folks here ping me to see where I was. I haven't been very active on SawMillCreek for several months now.
I have been busy with Christmas orders, but the bulk of my time is on my 2nd hobby - Christmas. I know it's a bit off topic for this forum, but here is a video & a news article on my Christmas display.

After the first of the year, I expect to be back here and active again.

Merry Christmas to all.

Hah! I've seen articles on your setup many times before, but I never put two and two together. Now I can tell people "I know that guy!" ;)

That is awsome. My wife has fits just getting me to pull the decorations from storage.

Let me see here.... you got laid off, took a while to find another job, do lasering on the side. Have you not considered doing this for high-end residential or commercial ventures, if not you should. I see lasering as a hobby in your future. Especially with as many holidays we Americans have. You've got talent and know-how you need to exploit for yourself.

Outstanding,
Anthony

Someone sent me an email of this but it was last year! I didn't realise that was your work, jeepers you must be rich to run the thing for Christmas time!

Holy freakin' reindeer, Santa! You should take this show on the road Tim. There must be malls out there just waiting to get to know you. I knew your work as well, but didn't put two and two together. Great show!

They need you on Broadway. It's boring there compared to this.

Sweet.

Well!!!! Amazing!!!
That certainly makes my annual ball of lights
(Laughingly called the Cunningham Christmas Tangle)
look pretty pathetic dangling in my living room window...
My wife said she seen this on 'ellen' today.. Wow your famous...

I use 1 of these & 3 of those, 64 channels in all. That means for every note in every song I have to program 64 channels. It's a slow process.

OK, it's what I was PLANNING to do at my house.

Gonna have to start referring to you as Buddy Hall (Danny Devito in Deck the Halls).

Tim, John and I have decided that we need to move next door to you so we can put up lights in our yard that say "Ditto" with an arrow pointing to your house!

That is absolutely incredible!

Tim, that is really a terrific project. I love seeing all of these kinds of decorations going up. We do Santa and Mrs. Clause for about 16 events this year. We are in high gear on both the Santa gigs and the laser business. We hope to get a tree up by Christmas Eve. We will probably have to do it early since we have four family Christmas Eves to do before I get to shave. That is my Christmas present, getting to shave and buzz the head, ~ 10:30 PM Christmas Eve. Too bad I freeze for the next month while I am acclimating to the draft.

Merry Christmas to all!!!

Totally cool!! I've seen similar displays and have for a long time wanted to invest in the gear to do a similar display. Silly me...I bought a laser instead!?!? Ah, well, maybe someday. Again, Kudos---that is one nice display.
