Anyone have a set of the Rockler steel router table legs (http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=17180)? How do you like them?

I have one router table, a 4x6 outfeed table, and a 2x6 mobile table. They are quick, easy, and not too expensive.

I got one (2x6) off of Craigslist, for $50. I did not need it... but I couldn't pass on the deal.

Dad's router table is made from a set. Nice and solid but I would advise additional support and leveling for a router table top (they are just stamped steel, not machined). For dad's table we built a level grid of plywood ribs between the top rails that extended just above the metal rails thereby supplying a well supported and flat structure to mount the table to.

Matt, I had those legs with the Rockler table and ended up selling them. They were sturdy enough, but the router table was a bit top heavy and tippy when rolled around on the casters. Would be better if you build a wooden cabinet into the legs, though. The added weight would likely make it less tippy. I was going to do that, but ended up mounting a router in my tablesaw instead.

Prior to putting my router lift in a TS extension and dismantling it I was using a very similar set from Eagle America. It worked well for years. If you want it, I'd let it go for $25. Let me know if you're interested.

I inherited a table from my dad made with the Rockler leg set, table, and casters. He built a cabinet into it, but it feels very sturdy to me.
