I was reading about a BIG CL scam on SMC woodworking forum. Then I get an email about chocolate covered fruit as gifts.
Now here is a SCAM!

Why do you think so? Verisign indicates that Proflowers.com in San Diego holds the SSL and that Shari's Berries is one of their brand names. Seems legit to me.

Unless you think their prices are outrageous....

Yeah, Mitchell. Not really a scam as all items and quantities are described accurately. But, $25.00 plus shipping for 6 pieces of chocolate with fruit. C'mon Shari, give me a break!
BTW, used pro flowers a couple times. Not bad prices and good looking arrangements. Made the wife happy, anyway.

Actually, if you hired me to do that, I'd charge more. A lot of the cost is in the fancy packaging and being perishable, anything with fruit is likely made and shipped as the order is placed adding to the cost. <Select a delivery date>. Yikes!

I serve an upscale market too and I'm amazed at the prices people will pay, even in this economy. I'm sure they take plenty of orders.

I envy their photography. Again, not cheap.
