Galvanized steel pipe gauge

Does anyone know the thickness of various gauges of galvanized steel pipe for DC runs so that one could measure the thickness to confirm the advertised gauge? I measured several that claim to be the same gauge but differ substantially. What THICKNESS (not gauge) should be used for a 2 hp cyclone with 6 or 7" diameter pipe? Bill Pentz help! Thanks.
