Ok, I have a dilemma (it's a good dilemma :) ). Tomorrow, I become the proud owner of a 3hp delta unisaw. This is an upgrade from my ryobi bt3100. I'm really excited about htis...however, one of the things I really loved about that Ryobi was the sliding table attachment.

Now, I'll be looking to upgrade the unisaw in the near future, for similar money, I can either get the incra 1000se miter gauge combo pack (250.00 from my lokcal woodcraft) or get the delta sliding table attachement (300 reconditioned from delta).

Any opinions on the pros/cons of each device. I've read lots of good things about each item and am not sure wich way to go ultimately.

In the short term, I'll just make a sled for accurate cross-cutting.

peace,
Erik
