Jet Jointer/Planer review???

Hi...Is there anyone out there that has purchased the 10" Jet Jointer/Planer? I have searched the net and this site for the last 2 hours and can not find a review. I do not need the planer part of it, I just need to face plane one side to start the process of getting the board right before glue up. I have a 6" Delta jointer and a 15" delta Planer but sometimes need to face plane a wider board(more than 6 " wide). Since I only do this for a hobby I can not justify buying the big dawg jointer. I just need to know if it is worth the $ 400. After all if it works ok I can spend $400 and ware it out in 5 years and buy another one for that price and still be ahead of the game with money !!
