Hey guys,
I remember seeing a version of an out-feed table that detached from a table saw, raised up, and could be stored over top of a contractor saw. I remember thinking it was a great solution for those of you who have limited space in a garage and need to roll the saw and out-feed table out of the way. But now I cant find it anywhere. I have a friend with very limited space and I want to send him the plans. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I don't recall seeing the one that folds over the top of the saw, but here is one that has floated around for awhile that sounds like it can do most of what you're looking for.

Thanks Scott. That link shows exactly what I did for my table saw outfeed. A very nice solution, but not quite what I'm looking for. I remember it had simple 2X4 legs that somehow raised and lowered easily making it possible to pop it off, raise it and roll it over top of the table saw to save space. I remember watching a video of it which makes me think it was a fine woodworking project, but I searched their site and I came up empty.

I remember seeing that now. If I still had a contractor saw I would be tempted to build that.

Mark, I think this is the one you are asking about. It was listed under Wood Magazine Sept 2007.It is called "Tablesaw,out-feed table/bench," I though this is pretty neat idea so I bookmarked it for future refrence. Hope this helps.....
