I have not bought from them. That seems like a lot of plans to fit on 1 disc. They accept PayPal so you should be protected by them. Let us know if you get it.

I downloaded a zip file from the internet that seems to contain the same "project list". So anything I say is a guess. Most of the files were very old scans and alot of hand drawn plans. I would bet that more than 80% of the project plans were links to the place you could BUY the actual plans! The project quality was close to "buy wood at hardware store, cut with circular saw, screw".

I would be a little concerned that they don't show some samples of the plans.

I also just did a Google search and there is a bad review at lumberjocks.

Plans vary so much in quality I would not purchase any that I could not see a tleast a couple full examples of.

Yeah, I read a little deeper and seen where they did say 'links'. But then again they say something like 200meg of stuff.

I am willing to bet this is a repackaging of information that is probably out there for free. I have bought information cds/pdfs from ebay and have had good luck, I bought a manual for my boat. But there is still a lot of stuff for sale that can be found for free. For example I bought a repair/service manual for my truck and after five minutes of searching on google I found it posted for free. I got paypal to refund me. Another example is vintageprojects.com, people try to sell these plans on ebay constantly.
I have recently found alot of great stuff on google books and the library never fails me.

Hum... Kind of just looking for ideas right now. I have a pc of 8/4 walnut that I think I can get something like a small hall table out of it. I think I'll make a version out of poplar first and paint it before I risk a pc of expensive wood as I'm kind of a beginner...
