We got clobbered (as many others did) with our first real snow of the season. About 10" of heavy wet snow. Stuck on the trees like glue. Some people lost trees but fortunately, we didn't. Worked until 10:00 PM last night and I was sure happy for 4 wheel drive. Not fun.
Snow plugged up my snow thrower about 8 times even though I tried to be careful. Even tried a little WD-40 on the chute to see if it would help.
Now we go into the deep freeze.
It sure was pretty. I attached 2 pics. The first shows our bird feeder and birdbath with a heavy cap of snow. The second shows the end of our drive way and about 2.5 feet of packed snow the plow donated to me. Snow was 3-4 inches thick on all of the branches. Stayed all day even though there was a fair amount of wind.
I suspect we will have a shite Christmas.
