I finished up 4 pens last night. Stayed in the shop till after 10:30pm. Told the wife tonight, that I wouldn't stay very long. Just wanted to clean up some things. While in the shop, I couldn't resist the temptation to try a mequite blank that I had sitting in the shop. This was my first time to try mesquite. Figured that I should turn a mesquite pen, since I'm surrounded by mesquite trees here in Central TX. Mesquite was easy to turn & a quick CA/BLO finish & presto was back in the house in no time.
