Anybody know where I can get a router bit somewhat similar to the attached picture? I need it to make a louvered door.

Where did you get the picture? It looks like a Freud or Porter Cable bit. If I knew the manufacturer part number or description, I have a dozen+ sources to check.

Try this link. I found this one that is pretty close. Maybe you can find something that will work. I didn't see any called louver bits.

Send your design to Nordic (nordicsaw.com) and they will give you a price to make it. You may find "something similar" but if you want exactly that profile, I think you need to have it made up. Usually not much more than what an "off the shelf bit" would cost and you get what you want. The bit in the link Jim posted looks "pretty close" but there are no dimensions given so it's kind of hard to tell.

If you dont need the louvers to function Rockler makes this one:

Thanks all for your answers.

David I think you are right. To get the exact profile I will need a custom bit and thanks for the lead to Nordicsaw.

It's possible that the bit design is for some solid surface substrates like Corian. You might want to google up the router bit in that field.

Jeff,
Maybe something along these lines might work. You just can't just the full bit height.

MLCs and Woodline both carry bits for louvered doors.
