Finally!!!
I took some pictures of my JET JWL-1220vs, the stand I built, and my first 2 projects.

The table lamp and the bowl are made from maple.

Nice work on everything! The stand looks sturdy and well thought out with plenty of storage. Nice lamp! They can be a lot of fun to make! Interesting form on your bowl!

The form on the bowl is totally random. I just wanted to try to learn the techniques from the books and DVDs I have.

I wanted the lamp to look rustic and I think I acheived that.

Looks like a nice stand for the lathe. Good way to get started. What kind of a shade are you thinking for the lamp?

Good looking lathe and stand. Lamps look rustic and well done. I just made 9 lamps and they are a fun project.

I designed the stand to be simple and sturdy. Borrowed from about 5 different plans. Our refrigerator died just before the lathe arrived. I was able to use 1 of the door shelves for a handy end shelf.
