Good Day to the Turners of the Creek!

I finally get to stroke a couple people off my xmas present list.
8" Walnut peppermills.
Mineral oil and wax finish.
Still doing little changes to my template as the boss wants.
Maybe after another 6 or 7 I will have a form i will stick with.....

Gary, the classes paid off! And, it just doesn't get any better than walnut in my book. I like the form very well, but whatever Geri says will be the final word.;)

Did you burn in the lines? I am going to try that on my tool handles when I get around to them.

Nice job, Gary. I still haven't gotten around to peppermills for some reason.

Are your hand tools getting dusty yet?

Thanks for all the comments.
And yes Steve we are having fun.

John the details at the bottoms were done with a skew.
Just did little vees.

And yes Gary H the hand tools are getting dusty.
But that may change soon as I can smell another community build in the air..
And in Feb. it will be time to do some more cherry cabinets for my shop.
With and cut drawers of course....

Gary, all of these look great! Of course, I am partial to the walnut, but the maple ones are beautiful, as well. You may have intended this, but your style has sort of a Byzantine flavor to it! Turkish peppermills!:D

Really nice Maple mills as well!

In the future, when you have additional turnings, I suggest you start a new thread just to bring the new work to everyone's attention.
