Completed two simply shaped turnings this week:
* Muddler - a 9" stick for crushing mint leaves when preparing a mojito, delicious brazilian drink with rum, soda, lime, sugar and mint. Made of sapele and coated with carnauba, for a friend. Here's the "competition":

* a 10 foot hand rail for the steps running into my house. Got a 3.9 by 3.9 pine plank and cut it in half, turned both down to 3.5, welded a steel framework and used a router to make an inch deep tunnel through most of the pole. Glued the two halfs together and gave it a few coats of paint. Rather simple for a turner but the largest project Im probably going to tackle. SWMBO was satisfied. She after all wrote the specs... :)
