I've got a friend who trims trees. Asked him if he had any logs laying around for my new found turning hobby. He said sure, come on over. He then filled my pickup with a box elder burl log (30" dia x 9 ft long). I'm not sure I could turn all this in a lifetime...

Great gloat! Make sure you seal everything as soon as possible! You have enough wood there to keep you busy for a while but once you get started - you will go through it really fast!
