Does anyone have any experience with the Craftsman 10 inch 3 H.P. industrial table saw? Catalog #0922694N
Yesterday I walked into a Sears catalog store and there was a 1299.00 tablesaw sitting on the floor marked down to 999.00 and then down to 699.00. I asked the sales person why the saw was discounted so much and the response was that Sears sent them the saw by mistake at which time they unpacked it and partically set it up and discarded the crate. Now Sears would rather sell at a deep discount rather than take it back without pakaging.
It seems this saw well built if you disreguard the blade guard/splitter and miter guage. The fence was not assembled so I do not know the quality.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
