Hello,
Here are a few new turnings done in the last month or so. The Claro walnut bowl has a small recess/foot on the bottom, all of the others were done after I got the vacuum chuck (wooohooo!). On those I turned off the tennon and made a small concave area for the bowl to sit on. The cherry bowl started as half a log and was maximum diameter for a Jet mini - my biggest bowl yet. The bark started coming off of the natural edge black walnut as soon as I started cutting on it ...... oh well. The twig pots were just fun as I had never done one before and needed a break from bowls. Comments and criticism welcome. Thanks for looking.

Bill

Thanks Bill.

I love the whole group, but the Claro piece is my favorite. The twig pots are pretty cool also. Great job

Thanks to everyone for the kind words.

The photography was done with a homemade diffused light source, some bounced light and a Nikon D200 dslr on a tripod (for those who may be interested).

I have to agree with other posters that you have several nice turnings, but the cocobolo twig pot really stands out. Very nice work.
